Course Introduction

Throughout this program, participants will acquire the expertise and understanding required to address various emergency scenarios. This encompasses handling an unconscious individual, performing CPR, aiding a choking victim, managing shock, addressing wounds, controlling bleeding, and tending to minor injuries. This course is designed for both businesses and individuals situated in the Gray's area of Essex.

Emergency First Aid (1 day) Training Course Grays

The Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course is widely recognized in the UK and is particularly suited for lower-risk workplaces such as retail outlets, offices, or lightly trafficked warehouses.

This course places emphasis on essential life-saving techniques that are applicable in diverse workplace settings.

Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge about their role as a First Aider and the appropriate steps to take when confronted with an emergency situation.

Upon completion of the training, candidates will possess the competence and assurance to effectively respond to accidents, both in their professional environment and at home.

Role of the First Aider
The use of First Aid equipment
Recording incidents and actions
Importance of self protection and basic hygiene
Act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
Unconscious and/or in seizure
Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
Signs of stroke
Choking
Burns
Wounded or bleeding and/or in shock
Minor injuries
